Usha Foods Company Policies

  • 1. Usha Foods takes great measures to properly pack items that are prepared for shipment. However, Usha Foods cannot provide an absolute guarantee that fragile foodstuffs will arrive at their destination unharmed. Items such as Papri, Fafda, Gathia, etc. are extremely delicate and fragile and may undergo damage while in transit.
  • 2. In the interest of the safety and health of all that we have the privilege to serve, and in adherence to the highest standards of business and ethics, Usha Foods does not accept returned foodstuffs, nor do we ever reuse or resell returned foodstuffs of any kind whatsoever. Any attempt to return foodstuffs will not be accepted, and any foodstuffs received via courier will be immediately discarded. Furthermore, no credit of any kind will be offered when we are in receipt of returned foodstuffs whatsoever.
  • 3. Usha Foods cannot offer absolute guarantees in regards to the presence and/or absence of any potential allergens (i.e. Nuts, Dairy, Legumes, etc.) in any of our products. If any consumer or potential consumer is concerned about the possibility of an allergic reaction when consuming any of our foodstuffs, Usha Foods would advise the respective party to proceed on the side of caution and avoid the foodstuff(s) of concern all together.
  • 4. As an all-vegetarian food company, with close ties to a multitude of Dharmic and/or all-vegetarian organizations, temples and institutions, Usha Foods does not allow any non-vegetarian and/outside foods or drinks anywhere within our premises. We ask the entire spectrum of the community we serve to respect their fellow customers and strictly adhere to this mandate.
  • 5. Usha Foods requires a half-pound minimum purchase for all items that are priced at a per pound rate.
  • 6. Usha Foods accepts all major credit cards.
  • 7. In compliance with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Usha Foods requires a $10.00 minimum for card transactions.
  • 8. Unfortunately, Usha Foods does not accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) at this time. Current Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) guidelines prohibit the use of EBT at companies like ours.
  • 9. Usha Foods does not allow pet animals anywhere within our premises. However, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals are permitted and welcome.
